The road in can be narrow and bumpy, so drive slowly. The site's page shows whether there is access by car. - [Can I come in a campervan or with a caravan?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#sites): Tents, roof tents and small campervans the size of a VW California are welcome. Caravans – even small ones – and large motorhomes can't come, because our permits from the municipalities don't allow it. - [How many of us can there be on a site?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#sites): The sites are made for small groups, not for larger gatherings. How many tents and cars there is room for varies from site to site, and it says so on the site's page. When you book, you enter how many of you are coming. - [Do we have the site to ourselves?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#sites): Yes. Once you have booked, no one else can book the site for the same nights. We choose places that are quiet, but the nature around them is still open to everyone, so you may meet other people. - [Is there a toilet at every site?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#sites): Yes, there is a compost toilet at every site, and we clean it regularly. Bring your own toilet paper. - [Can I light a fire?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#sites): Yes, but only in the site's fire pit or fire bowl. If there is a ban on fires, it applies at our sites too, and we write to members during dry spells. Still check for yourself whether there is a ban before you light a fire. - [Can I bring my dog?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#sites): Yes, dogs are welcome at all sites. Your dog must be on a lead around the camp. - [Can I use the sites all year?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#sites): Yes, there is no season. A few sites may close in winter if the road in becomes impassable. ### [Booking and stays](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#booking) - [How do I book a site?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#booking): Find an available site on the map of the campsites, pick your dates and tap Book the site. You log in with the email you're a member with and get a code by email, so there's no password to remember. Booking is free, and you'll get a confirmation by email. - [Can I get the weekend I want?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#booking): Membership gives you access to book available sites, not a guarantee of a particular date. You can book up to a year ahead and see what's available on the map of the campsites, before you join. - [How long can I stay, and how often can I book?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#booking): Each booking is for 1 or 2 nights, because that is a requirement in the permits we have from the municipalities. You can book as often as you like, but you can only have one site per night. - [When can I arrive, and when do I have to leave?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#booking): You can arrive from 12 noon on the day of arrival and must leave by 11 am on the day you leave, so the next guests can arrive. No one is there to meet you, so just drive out whenever it suits you after 12 noon. - [How do I find the site?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#booking): On the site's page you can get directions to the entrance and see the GPS point for the site itself, and from the entrance there are usually signs showing the way. It's all in the confirmation email too, along with driving directions if the site has them. - [How do I cancel a booking?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#booking): Go to My account, where you log in with your email, or use the button in the confirmation email. There's no deadline, and the site becomes available to others straight away. To move a booking, cancel it and book the new dates while they're available. - [Can I bring friends and family?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#booking): Yes, friends, family and children come along for free. Only the person who books has to be a member, and you have to come on the trip yourself. ### [Membership](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#membership) - [What does a membership cost, and how long does it last?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#membership): You can choose a yearly or a monthly membership, and both give access to all sites. To switch from yearly to monthly, write to info@landjord.com. - [What is Friend of Landjord?](https://www.landjord.com/en/frequently-asked-questions#membership): As a Friend of Landjord, you support the campsites and nature with a fixed amount every month.
